This is a really nice walk when you have a non-walker. Have them wait for 45 minutes in a Kingsbridge pub / cafe, then drive for 10 minutes out of Kingsbridge along the estuary. When they come to the bridge shown below, park (easy) and pick you up !
To take the walk: walk out of Kingsbridge along the estuary. After about 500m, walk through the park, which is nice. At the far end of the park, on the right, turn right and walk up the laughably steep hill. The views from the top are great. Walk over the hilltops and you will come out at Bowcombe creek. Walk towards the bridge, where you can be picked up by your non-walker, and everyone is happy.
