| Chinatown | |
| ct1.jpg Below are several pictures of Chinatown. Chinatown is a single long street; just north of Leicester Square and Picadilly circus, and south of Shaftesbury Avenue. Several restaurants serve eat-as-much-as-you-like buffets; we've tried a few, and not normally been impressed. A proper restaurant with a more expensive meal is better. Our recommended place for cheap and very good food is Won Kei. The service is absolitely dreadful to the point of rude, so don't go there expecting to be served with a smile. You get sat down where the waiter chooses, usually sharing a table. But the food is cheap and very good. |

| ct2.jpg This is Won Kei. It's at the opposite end of the street to Chinatown Car Park. The easiest way to find this place, and Chinatown, is to walk from Leicester Square towards Picadilly Circus, and take the only street on the right, towards Shaftesbury Avenue. Incidentally, we just found a BBC review of this restaurant! http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A261019 |
